We “lead” projects. This means we own the project. We are responsible for setting the goals, defining the approach, teasing out the relevant information from subject matter experts, interfacing with relevant groups and management, ensuring team members meet their commitments, and making the project happen.
We don’t wait for team members to bring forward their info and then just package it. We need to and do understand content and context for everything that goes on in the medical device project. Once on board, we learn enough to be conversant and participate in the regulatory strategy, medical device manufacturing, and market development of the project.
Our project managers have managed teams as small as 5 to teams with hundreds of members. Our team has experience in the therapy and diagnostic spaces, as well as working on regulatory issues. Most of our project managers are engineers by training and have done cardiac, neurological, urological and auditory projects. From drug to bio to combination devices to Class 3 implantable devices, our team has seen it all.
